transparency

Your time matters. Your budgets matter. And most businesses don’t have the headspace for vague conversations that only become clear once you’re already committed.

It’s much easier to have a good conversation if clear expectations are set from the start!

This page is here so you can understand how Teammate works, what to expect, and whether it’s likely to be a good fit — before any calls or proposals.

Teammate works with companies that sell products and/or services to other businesses (B2B). We’re industry-agnostic by design.

Teammate is best suited to small and mid-sized, roughly up to 100 employees.

In practice, this usually means businesses that:

  • already have customers and active commercial operations
  • have systems, processes, and a website in place
  • rely on that website as part of lead generation or conversion
  • feel growing friction as the business evolves
  • want to improve how things work, not just add more on top

For your benefit, Teammate doesn’t work on open-ended or undefined engagements.

Whether we’re focusing on your website, your operations, or implementing AI, everything is structured in clear, contained phases, with agreed scope and endpoints.

This is deliberate. It protects your time, your budget, and the quality of the work.

CRO work starts with understanding why a website is or isn’t performing, rather than jumping straight into changes.

Audits are fixed-scope and paid upfront. They’re designed to identify friction, missed opportunities; and prioritise improvements.

If you decide to move into further implementation afterwards, that work is scoped and priced separately, based on what’s actually worth doing.

Operational and AI-related work is harder to predict from the outside.

Rather than guessing, these engagements start with a free scope, followed by a paid diagnostic. This is a short, focused phase that clarifies:

what’s actually happening

what matters most

what sensible next steps look like

From there, delivery is scoped and agreed before any further commitment.

Diagnostics are fixed-price, time-boxed, and paid upfront. They stand on their own.

Website CRO audit: from £899

Ops & AI work: free scoping call → paid diagnostic → delivery scoped & priced from there

All pricing is agreed in advance.

Where trusted partners are involved, Teammate manages the work end-to-end, so you’re not coordinating multiple parties.

Teammate doesn’t default to retainers.

Ongoing support is of course possible, but only where it genuinely makes sense for the work and the outcome.

If it does, we’ll talk about it openly. If it doesn’t, the engagement ends cleanly.

Clear scope and boundaries.
Practical recommendations grounded in how your business actually works.
Delivery that’s seen through properly.
Straightforward & friendly communication throughout.

If you do reach out, it helps to have a rough sense of:

  • what your business does

  • what currently feels stuck, slow, or unclear

  • what you’re hoping to improve over the next few months

That’s enough to start a useful conversation.
